Mikaela Loach is a Jamaican-British climate justice organiser, speaker, and author whose work centers on intersectional climate action, racial justice, and community-led change. She is Co-Director of the AWETHU School of Organising, a transformative initiative that provides political education and organising tools rooted in climate justice and liberation for marginalised communities.

Mikaela has been involved in grassroots campaigns challenging fossil fuel expansion and advancing environmental justice, contributing to public debate through writing, media, and movement spaces. She is the author of It’s Not That Radical (2023) and Climate Is Just The Start (2025), works that connect climate action with broader struggles for social and economic transformation.
