Jacqueline Patterson

Jacqueline Patterson is the Director of the Environmental and Climate Justice Program at the NAACP and a co-founder of Women of Color United. She has worked for more than two decades as an advocate, researcher, and program leader advancing women’s rights, racial justice, public health, and climate justice.

She has held leadership roles with organizations including ActionAid and IMA World Health, and has contributed to research at Johns Hopkins University. Jacqueline holds graduate degrees from Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland.

Through her writing, advocacy, and global work, she highlights the links between climate change, human rights, and social equity, and continues to be a leading voice for justice-centered climate solutions.
