Daniel has been part of the Brazil team at Health In Harmony since early 2024, managing initiatives with traditional and Indigenous communities.

Born in São Paulo, he holds a degree in Social Sciences (2007) and a specialization in Environmental Management (2010). Since graduating, he has worked alongside Indigenous peoples across Brazil—in the south of Amazonas, Pará, and other regions of the country—engaging with research institutions, public agencies, NGOs, and Indigenous associations. His work has focused on cultural safeguarding, environmental protection, strengthening sustainable agricultural practices, territorial and environmental management planning, and advancing health and education initiatives.

He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Biodiversity and Conservation at the Federal University of Pará in Altamira, where he lives with his wife and son. His work is driven by a strong commitment to traditional communities and to ensuring quality of life for present and future generations intrinsically connected to the planet’s future.
