United for the Mother Earth – Nura Batara
Transcript
‘Our Village’ is a space. To each other is just as reflective. A space to exchange thoughts. Discussion. With different people who came, who participated, who had the same goal and the same movement, which was to defend and safeguard this earth.
My dream and my hope to be in this place is. Is to meet the relatives who had the same struggle. To meet and exchange thoughts. And his hope is that ‘Our Village’ is our space to share kindness and things that are positive. Because, we are the ones who will guard and protect the earth. And thank you to my relatives at If Not Us Then Who? Who have been consistent for 10 years exactly this year to always hold or host ‘Our Village.’ And may our shared hope from ‘Our Village’ spread goodness and positivity because we are defenders and guardians of the earth.
For Nura Batara, ‘Our Village’ is more than a gathering space—it’s a sanctuary for changemakers. A place where shared struggles turn into collective action, and where kindness and positivity fuel the fight to protect our planet.
As we reflect on 10 years of connection and collaboration, we continue to elevate voices, build alliances, and inspire solutions for a better future.
