Reframing Narratives – Paul Redman
Transcript
Our Village space in ten years, they’ve been all sorts of really wonderful magic and beautiful gatherings with artists and musicians and spiritual blessings. And I think each one of them has really enriched the people that have come through them and built allies, networks, connections for indigenous peoples, local communities, and Afro-Descendant populations.
And then I think really in terms of framing narratives and getting indigenous peoples from outside the climate space to central to climate decision-making, that I’ve seen massively transformed in the last ten years, I think is one of the most profound and beautiful aspects of the work that we do in reframing narratives.
Paul Redman, Founder and Executive Director, reflects on the journey and mission that have shaped If Not Us Then Who and Our Village.
