Andréia Coutinho Louback is a Brazilian journalist and climate justice advocate with over 15 years of experience in social communication. Guided by a commitment to social justice and the reduction of inequalities, she sees communication as a practice of freedom and journalism as a compass for social transformation.
In recent years, she has immersed herself in the environmental movement, focusing on climate justice in Brazil, racial equity, and cause-driven communication. She writes features, researches, teaches, produces podcasts, and moderates debates on intersectional issues, emphasizing the urgency of action in the face of the climate emergency.
She serves as executive director of the Centro Brasileiro de Justiça Climática (CBJC), where she leads initiatives that integrate racial equity and human rights into Brazil’s climate agenda, strengthening advocacy, research, and public engagement around climate justice.
